  • If any man approaches my house in search of a slave and I do not lay him a lifeless corpse at my feet, I hope the grave may refuse my body a resting place.

    thanks

  • If any dude comes to my digs looking for a ***** and I don't drop a nine in his forehead. My soul will never rest.

Sorry that was for my own entertainment, I don't actually talk like that.

    In English:
If anybody comes to my house and plans to make a slave out of me (or anybody else). I will kill them. If I don't I hope my soul will never rest.

  • he's saying that if anyone were to come to him in search of a slave and he didnt kill them, he hopes that he will not rest in peace. its sort of like when people say cross my heart and hope to die. basically hes saying that he'll kill anyone who comes to him looking for a slave.

  • The "and I do not lay him a lifeless corpse at my feet" is an old fashion way of saying "and if he doesn't die by my own hands". So it just means that he's against slavery.

  • it means that your not a rat. If someone is in need of help & you help them even though you know your not supposed to you would rather get punished for not telling the truth then to put another in harms way.
