has anyone ever heard of that phrase before? i heard someone say that today and i was like what? lol but yea. how random is that? y isnt it liek everyone and ther father or parents? so random. lol ne1 heard of it b4i heard it as everyone and their brother.
meaning there was an awful lot of people there.i have, and, just btw, it would be "their" mother
but i do agree, it is really random, as are many phrases in our language, i mean, if you really think of then:
"pumpkin" and "muffin" as endearing terms, raining cats and dogs, looking the gift horse in the mouth, etc.
ooh, how ridiculous!i've heard of it before and its so true!not yet.. haven't heard of that saying before but now i know. thanksi hav heard my dad say everyone and their 'brother' but not their mother... its probably some old timey phrase they used years ago...#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
