I cant have sex and i want to know why?

January 6th, 2009
  • i cant even use a tampon. it hurts way too bad. everyone says to bare with it but its a pain unexplainable. my doctor said everything 'down there' was normal. but even her putting half her pinky up there hurt like crazy. is it normal or is there something my doctor didnt see?

  • Maybe try using pads and give your 'down there' are break from things going in there. Also try using tea tree oil on an ear bud and wipe it around 'down there' it'll sting but it'll help.

  • you should get a second opinion to make sure your ok if your in that much pain

  • i read in seventeen magazine once that some girls have a reallllyyyyyy small opening in their hymen, the thing that stretches to let u put in a tampon (and other stuff..) in ur vagina. the mag said that a gynocologist can stretch it to the normal size it should be using anesthetics during the process so it doesnt hurt. the only thing i dont understand is y ur doc said nothing was wrong, unless she counted a rlyy small hole as normal cuz it does happen to a bunch of girls. i'd go to a gynocologist. ask ur doctor about one cuz it rly shouldnt hurt that much

  • I'm not a virgin but I still get a burning pain if I put in a tampon.
I think when having sex, when you decide to have it you would need to be really wet and use lube so it doesn't hurt as much. My first time hurt, but it got better. You need to be aroused before sex for it to not hurt as much. When I'm not aroused it still hurts me and I've lost count how many times I've done it.
Ask the boy to be gentle too.

  • You're just tight as hell ;)

  • I was the same way. I ended up needing a hymenectomy (surgery to remove my hymen). Now I'm good.

  • what kind of doctor did you see, you should see someone who specializes in that area. it sound like something i would seek a second opinion on.

  • You are not a virgin, I take it, if you say you can't have sex. How old are you? If you are about 10-13, your vagina is small and has not stretched out enough.

As far as the tampon issue is concerned, the best thing to do is to use a tampon with a plastic applicator. I use Kotex tampons. Try putting your foot on the toilet, or putting it in when your are sitting down on the toilet. Aim the tampon at about a 40 degree angle upward. Use your other hand's forefinger and middle finger to spread your lips. Put your applicator in at this angle, being sure to secure the outer end, and push. Move it slightly until it does not feel uncomfortable. If it is still uncomfortable, try using a lubricant.

I do not think that there is anything foreign that should be inside you. As far as the sex goes, if you are able to have sex now, try using a lubricant with your mate.

  • you need to find another doctor and see whats going on

  • your a lesbian?

  • no every woman has some pain, and it sounds like you have a lot, but the more you stretch it so to speak, the more flexible it will become. some vagina's are a lot tighter than others, so if it is that unbearable, and you think the doctor may be wrong, it might be a good idea to get a second opinion.

  • Your doctor knows what she's doing and if you don't trust that she does, seek out another. If she says everything is fine, you should relax. Perhaps you were nervous and your muscles tensed up making it painful for any penetration. You need to be relaxed to do things like inserting a tampon and having sex.

  • its normal try using "ob" brand tampons and dont rush to get it in there

  • I asked my friend whose over and she said its normal.

  • yes if you are a virgin then yes its normal.

  • yea its normal your just naturaly tight u should talk to your doctor anout a hymenectomy to remove your hymen... or try using od tampons
